Kindermusik is a music and movement program taught all over the world by licensed educators. It is not a franchise. Licensed educators maybe those employed by other educators, or are business owners themselves. 
Amongst other programs, Kindermusik provides a four-stage curriculum carefully designed to reflect and match your child’s age and developmental level. Musikids teaches this four-stage curriculum. There are no prerequisites since each stage provides unique learning opportunities.
Each stage runs for approximately 3-4 semesters, depending on the development of the child. Within the stages, there are programs that run for 16 weeks over two x 8-week terms. This applies to all programs excepting the Village stage (newborn-18 months), where programs run during an 8-week term only.
To ensure that the music learning is continued and enhanced at home, it is compulsory for all children & families enrolled, to have a set of At Home Materials related to the unit that is the focus at the time. These materials include CD’s, literature books, instruments, play sets, and other items relevant to the programs content & level, and have been carefully developed by Kindermusik. The hundreds of children that have crossed the Musikids threshold have proven time again, that without the use of these learning aids at home; the learning process is not complete.
