At Musikids, music & movement classes are conducted for members of a young family. They include parent participation for part-of or the entire class. Classes are 45 to 60 minutes in duration. Musikids offers a wide range of classes for the young child (3 months to the first 2-3 years of school) and can be viewed here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two main programs that Musikids use to foster music development in children and their families are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Internationally acclaimed Kindermusik<\/a> music & movement program<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Australian Encore on Keys <\/a>group keyboard program<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Kindermusik is the world\u2019s leading provider of music-based education for children from birth through age seven and uses the power and joy of music-making to help children learn and grow during the years most critical to brain development. Since 1978, Kindermusik has helped millions of children around the world build a strong foundation for a lifetime love of learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Delivered at Musikids, Kindermusik and Encore on Keys are curriculums carefully researched and designed to reflect your child\u2019s each stage of development. All programs must be taught by licensed educators. Educators might be employed by other educators, or are business owners themselves. Kindermusik and Encore on Keys are not franchises. <\/p>\n\n\n

    I am a fully qualified Music teacher with more than 35 years experience. I teach the carefully researched and developmentally appropriate music programs outlined in the Musikids class selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Locals would consider me as an enthusiastic, dedicated, and caring person. They see me nurturing the development of music and movement in the families of the Albury-Wodonga region. I do my very best to ensure that Musikids is the perfect place where this happens. I enjoy my community!<\/p>\n\n\n

    Every year since 2006, Musikids has been awarded Kindermusik Maestro status. This is now called the Kindermusik Top program award which represents the top 5% of Kindermusik educators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In 2026, I will celebrate 20 years at the home of Musikids’ affectionately known as the “Slab Hut”  at Gateway Village on the Causeway. I will also celebrate 26 years working for myself in my own business and teaching the Kindermusik program full time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I have taught piano and music theory for more than 35 years and continue to do so with a minimal list of students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
